The Girl With The SeasonsThe girl continued to paint
Little details here
And there

A new baby for this family
An extra apple for her
A new rifle for him
With all the contrasting colors
Of her painted spectrum

But she began to grow
Very bored
With her warm and sensual creations
Under a beating sun
They were all so similar
And forever unchanging

With an angry flick
She blotted white over the fields
On the tops of trees
And over the homes of her creatures

Next to that canvas she splattered colors
Blues and pinks and purples
Curling up
To become petals
She drew smaller game
With hasty silver strokes
And sky blue feathers
To adorn her flying crea

AdrianHe holds his treasure in a damask cave
Behind a silver and hardened lock
That has troubled the minds of many thieves
As they cannot help but wonder
As to what lies beyond those black curtains
Shielding the treasure from the scalding sun

He has always preferred a deep violet to black
It reminds him of the haughty monarchs
That invade his everlasting peace
But what do they measure to him
The rich one
The dark one
The unfortunately immortal one

He always wonders who he is behind his darkened mask
He knows he is not death
As his treasure holds more than measly souls
But he is not life nor will he be
As it can be told by his

The Girl That Created SoundWith a spark of inspiration
The girl picked up her palette
And retrieved her brush
Before watching closely

She saw her creatures gather
Close together
But without communication

She splashed a shiny brown
Onto her canvas
With small pieces of black

She added fine lines for string
And gaping holes for pipes

The girl carefully painted
Something on their faces
For sound to come from

With a delighted laugh
She created letters
Calligraphy
And painted them into her books
And upon the minds of her people

She gave her creatures voice
With each careful stroke
And tentative creation
And hummed song

She painted whispering gossip

Continuing StoriesA word is worth a thousand thoughts
Once bound together to be caught
Inspiring minds forever now
With revolutions begin how
Because of books and pretty tales
Still to be reality's bail
The human mind cannot be stilled
Unless the thought for now be chilled
And yet we must owe all our thanks
To words that make our figure's rank
For literature keeps no theme
As it forever holds our dreams
So be for now our thrilling words
But stay free as those mocking birds
And as those stories do go on
It always beings thereupon...

AliceShe is bound by padded silk chains
Along a cold white wall with no windows
But it has a simple door just small enough
For ideas to be taken and hidden far away
Beyond the failing distance her mind can see from

But she is still forced to hold eternally close
To the words she spouted carelessly in her past
That whispered and shouted of clouds and birds
That loyally took new shapes for her
As a fortune most simply cannot see
Nor will they ever attempt to glimpse

Still he promised to forever love her
And follow her wisps no matter where they float to
With her mentalities cracked and all
As he jumps first into pitfalls and secrets

Writing a PoemIf only it was simple to write poetry...
To have the ability to write what you wanted
And to find inspiration anywhere,
May it be from nature, war, friends, anything.
I wish I could take up my pen
And write beautiful words
All intertwining and maybe even rhyming.
Or maybe I could put my hands
To my keyboard with meaning
And just, well, type.
But it's really not that simple
To write a decent, or beautiful poem.
It takes time, and practice.
And practice.
And practice.
And guess what?
You're right, practice.
But once you finally have that poem,
Completed and strong,
You know it's worth the effort.

One That Burns FireA little man holds fire in his hand
Something known all across the land
Still he is unable to catch a glimpse
Though modern machines have tried since
Yet he is safe behind weary masks
Forever amused by tedious tasks
Keeping hold to slight burst
While watching in simplistic mirth
But that little man does not know
That which he holds shares a common foe
And as his mind begins to fall
It cannot bother him at all
For a true flame will never die
When there is still one left to cry

Mine to Steal: Brunhilde's SongCoiling serpents with ruby eyes
Seek not for what is mine to steal
For in the night I'll surely give
A silver band and golden sword

Beyond a cage of flames and frogs
To frozen walls of ice and snow
Flows through a solemn lullaby
Humming stories to be told

Sing not to me a coward's tale
With sparkling eyes and living breath
Leave a heart like mine to steal
And let a silent message hold

Shield those eyes with ruby gems
Seek not for what is mine to steal
For in the night I'll surely give
A golden helm and silver spear

Musing over the MoonI don't think that the moon
wanted to be
the moon
imagine a hot rock
released to its own path
by a collision
explosion
or monumental
fission fusion of creation
taking pace
among the stars
free
only soon
a sun with planets
slowly pulls
cajoles
this liberated
piece of travel-rounded
mass
into a steady orbit
of obligations
light the night
guide the ships
pull the tides
make us wonder
let the wolves howl
night after night
repetitive
circling
wondering
about its freedom

Yeah, I know we haven't
Spoken in a while
But I miss you.

SovereignThe sovereign that reigns
Over the grey sky
Keeping close to faith
As fear draws to mind

Predator and PreyHe walked home with shackling eyes
constraining all those too unwise
to slither like snakes after prey
but this time it’s their turn to pray
for though they conceal themselves well
they ignore tolling of the bell.
The bell that resounds loud to all
“The beast shall appear this nightfall!”
And so he twists and turns through bends
reaching his hut, so well he blends
with nature as if it adhered
to his likes and joy and despair
yet this time only whispers rose
for calamity was quite close.
The burglars slowly approached
the poor lonely farmers abode
Till now evening was at hand.
The farmer put on his wristband
“Tonight shall not be as foretold”
he thought feeling the need to stroll
he picked the lamp up and approached
his door when with a crash it broke!
And climbed in ten or twenty men
the farmer, surprised could not defend.
They grabbed him by his arms and limbs
twisting them, with their intents grim.
The lamp fell as the hut caught fire.
The farmer cried;

Six Word Story!And
      his
          crown
                  went
                          tumbling
                                        down...

It taunts me.
An empty page.
It stays, plaguing my mind so riddled with writer's block.
I wish to write just what I feel;
If only I could take up my pen or keys

Lady of ViennaO Lady of Vienna, why do you cross your smiles and lock away your gowns of lace and silk from times you would prefer to forget?
You used to waltz with pride as you seemed to enrich the entirety of the ballroom and its candlelight with your glimmering smile, tantalizing others with a glance as well as in your partner's strong arms and nearly calloused palms that have never thought of holding another, but he is all you knew and still continue to know.
So why choose to throw away untold riches accumulated over thousands of years, treasures that your people willingly created for you alone, with honest and true intentions gracing their thoughts

Unpredictable StormsStorms have never been ones for pleasantries
As flighty spirits with unstable desires
That simply wish to bring destruction
To all those that cross their enraged path
With all crossroads leading to an uncertain fate
Because storms have always been
Unpredictable
In ways that a mortal cannot comprehend
As their urges are insignificant
But still mirror those of the storms
As they are shaped in a lost image
Once taken to by the ancient summer's day
To shield their pastel figures from the darkness
Cast by sullen clouds over ruined fates
That were beyond the reach of restless fae

Humpty DumptyI can remember that night
Not too long ago
And if my actions were right
Under a moon buried in snow
They kept my attempts of flight
Far from what I know

There were yellow walls
And soft carpet floors
When he came to call
Knocking on my door

He grabbed my dolly from my hand
Dolly
Where is my dolly
Please give me Dolly
Dolly...

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall

Poor Humpty Dumpty
That face on the wall...
Reminds me of Dolly
And her broken head

Dolly fell to the ground
With a very loud thump
When he took me around
To give my head a big bump
As he tried not to frown
When the world started to clum

In a crazed dream I swore to protect him
To keep him far from creeping shadows
And the death that still escapes me
As I gave his arms my cursed blessing
And knelt to his everlasting power
With hope for a sign from past

But he dared to raise his eyes
To meet my own tear stained orbs
With a caring and sparkling smile
As he grabbed me by a scarred hand
To present to me a new hope

He showed me an eternally shining sky
One that I had glanced at many times before
But he revealed hidden treasures I had never seen
He gestured to each constellation with his voice rising
And falling with each myth recited to me
He showed me each dream that fell back to the stars
To confide in his glorious brothers and sisters
Whose bright spheres colored the darkness
But they seemed to shine brighter at his calls
As if only an attempt to make me smile
Or even create just a curve in my lips
As my face lit to a bright red
Deeper than the reflection of his storms

I think I love him
But I am terribly afraid to lose him

And I long for the comfort of his hands
But I still fear for the release of his support
That I lost from my own brothers and sisters
Due to a bloody war waged upon my own mistakes
Only for them to be further weakened by barbarians
Of a similar mind and cloth

Those men sent their praises to him and his brother
While singing hymns plucked from a broken lyre
Tuned long ago from my own carefree hands
With a skill long forgotten

That remains lost in my ruins
Of which he helps me to uncover every day
As I allow myself to temporarily forget my sins

If only to let a smile reach my face
If only to see him laugh joyously in return
As I lower my carefully placed shield of timidness
For him to pat my head and return to my fallen city
The city that grew under his tempered gaze
While he sings and dances as if he is only made of air

This poem was written for them as well, and I hope you all liked it! I will be making a follow-up to the poem because I want to, and kind-of got into writing this, so I rambled... Eheheheh...
Well, there's also a hidden meaning here that I thought of when thinking, and the final line gives it away!
